Sibelius Student 6.2
Changes and improvements
Sibelius Student 6.2 includes a number of minor bug fixes and stability improvements. There are no new features in this update of Sibelius Student, but it is recommended for all existing users.
Updating Sibelius Student on Windows
- Download SibeliusStudent62Full.exe (240MB)
- Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation. You will now see a menu with options to install different programs. Click Install Sibelius Student to install the updated version of Sibelius Student.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software: your existing copy of Sibelius Student is uninstalled automatically during the installation process.
- After a couple of minutes you are told that the installation has been successful: click Finish to leave the updater.
- You may also choose to install the latest version of Sibelius Scorch from the main menu, as this program has also been updated.
- When you're done, click Exit.
Updating Sibelius Student on Mac
- Download SibeliusStudent62Full.dmg (240MB)
- The disk image should be mounted automatically, and a window with some icons should open on your Desktop. If the window does not open automatically, double-click the downloaded disk image to mount it.
- Double-click the Install Sibelius Student icon to install the updated version of Sibelius Student.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software: your existing copy of Sibelius Student is uninstalled automatically during the installation process.
- After a couple of minutes you are told that the installation has been successful: click Close to leave the updater.
- You may also choose to install the latest version of Sibelius Scorch by double-clicking the appropriate icon in the window, as this program has also been updated.
- When you're done, eject the disk image.
