Sibelius Sounds Essentials update for Sibelius 5.2

Changes in Sibelius Sounds Essentials for Sibelius 5.2

We have updated Sibelius Sounds Essentials to fix some minor problems with some of the included sounds (e.g. a looping problem in the Recorder instrument, and a small imperfection in the Guarneri solo violin instrument), and to make it possible for all of the sustaining instrument sounds (from the M-Audio General MIDI set, Sibelius Sounds Rock and Pop, Sibelius Gold) to play continuous crescendos and diminuendos automatically.

Before you begin

Make sure you have already installed Sibelius Sounds Essentials from your Sibelius 5.0 or Sibelius 5.1 DVD-ROM before you install the new update.

Important: If you are running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard you don't need the below updater but instead you will need to download the Leopard compatible installer from here.

You should also ensure that you have installed the update to Sibelius 5.2 before you proceed. Do Help > Check For Updates and check that you are told you are running the latest version of Sibelius.
