This is a download of the full installer of Sibelius 6.2, and is only available to registered users of Sibelius 6. If you are looking for the demo version of Sibelius, please use that link instead.

Updating from Sibelius 6.1.x or Sibelius 6.0.x
If you already have an earlier version of Sibelius 6 installed, and have installed Sibelius Sounds Essentials from your Sibelius 6 DVD-ROM, you should only download using the Sibelius 6.2 installer only option below.

You can download the software from either of the links below:

- Quit Sibelius, if you're running it.
- Double-click the downloaded Sibelius62Installer.exe file to begin installation.
- Follow the simple on-screen steps to install the software. When the installer completes, you will find a Sibelius 6 shortcut on your desktop.
- Once the installation has completed, you can delete the downloaded Sibelius62Installer.exe file if you wish, though you may want to e.g. burn it to CD-ROM/DVD-ROM to avoid having to download it again in future.
Now run Sibelius 6. Choose About Sibelius from the Help menu, and check the version number: it should read Version 6.2.0 build 88.

- Quit Sibelius, if you're running it..
- Once you have downloaded Sibelius62Full.exe, double-click the downloaded file, and click Yes when asked if you want to install Sibelius 6.2
- Wait while the file is unpacked: this will take a few minutes. Once the extraction is complete, a front-end menu will appear with options to install the software.
- Follow the instructions on page 6 and following of the Upgrading to Sibelius 6 booklet.

- If your web browser doesn't automatically mount the downloaded disk image, double-click it to mount it.
- A Sibelius 6.2 volume icon will appear on your desktop: double-click it to open it.
- Double-click the Install Sibelius 6 icon inside the mounted volume.
- A window appears, titled Welcome to the Sibelius 6 Installer. Click Continue.
- You are given the opportunity to read the Sibelius license agreement. Read it, click Continue, then Agree.
- You are told how much space on your computer will be used by installing Sibelius 6. (If you are reinstalling Sibelius 6, you may be told that the installation will take up almost no space on your computer.) You have to install Sibelius on your Mac’s boot disk, so don’t click Change Install Location: simply click Install.
- You are prompted for your administrator password: type it and click OK.
- A progress bar appears as the software is installed. This may take several minutes.
- Eventually, you will be informed that installation was successful. Click Close.
Now run Sibelius 6 by double-clicking its icon in the Applications folder. Refer to page 15 of your Upgrading to Sibelius 6 booklet for what to do next.
